My favorite walk, by far, was the Central Parks walk. I ran it one day and it was one of the best runs I have ever been on. It was nice to see all the different parks one after the other and just watch people as I ran past them. I also learned on this walk that I can find my way around better than I thought I could.
Second favorite walk would have to be the Soho walk. I felt like not many people enjoyed it as much as I did, but I found it very exciting and interesting. We also saw the little China Town, which I thought was pretty interesting. Although it was crazy busy, I really enjoyed that there was never a dull moment on this walk. I also had good company which makes everything better.
My third favorite walk would have to be the Bankside and Southwark walk. The views of the city were absolutely amazing and I loved seeing the Tower Bridge for the first time! I would honestly go on this walk a few more times just to walk along and see across the river again. It was so great!
Sam, thanks for keeping such a beautifully designed blog of your walks. It looks like you've made the most of the assignment, and the photos and site reports will be a pleasant memory in a few months when you're back to regular life in Provo.
ReplyDeleteThe Central Parks walk has been a real favorite this term. I think living in a massive city makes green space and lovely parks even more precious to us.
I'm so glad you joined our spring term program; it's been a real blessing to have you with us because you've brought such a kind and friendly attitude to everything. Thanks for that and all the other good things you've done.
You're now an official graduate of the London Walks course. Congratulations!
